This one time, I figured I should probably be more active, so I put on a pair of sneakers and decided to run.
I maybe ran the distance between two telephone poles. I gave up and walked home to console myself with cheese.
Eventually it got easier - I'm really impatient so believe me when i say this, it gets easier very quickly with consistency - so I kept at it because I saw myself improving.
Anyway long story short I lost 70lbs and ran a half marathon. (The long version involves a lot of screw ups, injuries, illnesses, and other set backs - it happens)
Currently training for a 20 mile race.
I'm not fast and I'm not special and I really don't even know what I'm doing but I sure do like running.
